'Co-existence' provisions inserted in new GM laws
Two EU Regulations on genetically modified food and feed were adopted by the Council of Ministers on 22 July. They will take effect 20 days after they are published, in principle removing the last hurdles to the lifting of the EU's de facto moratorium on authorisation of new GM crops and foods.
