Reform of company car taxation has delivered a 0.5% reduction in carbon dioxide emissions from road transport, with more on the way, according to a review by the Inland Revenue.1 The reforms have encouraged the use of more efficient cars, a dramatic shift to diesel and a significant drop in the total number of company cars.
