Dispute continues over ‘missing’ hazardous waste

The Government and the waste industry continue to disagree over whether significant volumes of hazardous waste are being misclassified as non-hazardous, according to evidence given to the House of Commons Environment Committee’s inquiry into waste policy and the EU landfill Directive.
