Neighbourhoods Bill completes passage through Commons

The Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Bill completed its passage through the House of Commons in February with no amendments to the sections relevant to waste management. The Government rejected amendments that would have allowed variable charging and imposed waste minimisation targets on local authorities.
