Audit Committee returns to the fray on green taxation

The Treasury must reaffirm its commitment to environmental taxation and reconsider the case for an independent green tax commission, according to a report on the Budget by the House of Commons Environmental Audit Committee.1 The MPs call for regulatory impact assessments to be beefed up.
