MPs criticise OGC’s record on sustainable procurement

There appears to be "little if any internal drive" from the Office of Government Commerce to pursue sustainable procurement, according to a short report from the House of Commons Environmental Audit Committee in April.1 Strong leadership is needed to ensure that the momentum gained so far is not lost as the Government’s review of waste in the public sector shifts the focus to cost savings.
