A detailed statement from the Department of Trade and Industry in March confirmed - as earlier revealed by ENDS - that it is delaying implementation of producer responsibility obligations for waste electrical and electronic equipment until January 2006. The statement also confirmed that the DTI has abandoned the concept of a national clearing house.
