Plastic film manufacturers and agricultural suppliers have voiced their support for a statutory producer responsibility scheme for the collection and recovery of farm films. Their comments come in response to draft regulations setting out controls on "non-natural" agricultural wastes in England and Wales. The National Farmers Union is pressing for farm tips to remain in operation.
