The Government’s Committee on Radioactive Waste Management has proposed a shortlist of options to manage the UK’s radioactive waste - but is facing internal disputes and is under fire for the time it has taken to reach this stage. Meanwhile, the Government has announced a separate consultation on dealing with low level radioactive waste.
