MEPs give car industry more time on recyclability

The European Parliament agreed to give car manufacturers an extra 18 months to meet minimum vehicle standards for reusability, recyclability and recoverability when the proposed Directive amending the "type-approval" regime for vehicle design received its first reading on 14 April.
