Scottish Water fined after killing 600 fish

Scottish Water appeared before Dornoch sheriff court on 29 March to plead guilty to causing sewage pollution of the Dornoch burn in August last year. The court heard that Scottish Environment Protection Agency officers found sewage overflowing into the stream and pumps at a nearby pumping station turned off.
