Cinema operator Cine-UK was fined £5,000 with £1,489 costs on 7 April by Horseferry Road magistrates after it admitted two offences under the 1997 packaging regulations. The company is a major player in the UK running some 35 multiplex cinemas and has recently acquired the UGC chain,
