More data on phthalates and fertility

Scandinavian scientists have found that mothers with high levels of phthalate contaminants in their breast milk are likely to have sons with lower levels of male hormones in their blood. The chemicals, widely used in plastic and in cosmetics, appear increasingly beleaguered as evidence mounts that they reduce male fertility.
