Darling gives go-ahead to transport fuels obligation

The Government has confirmed plans to place an obligation on road fuel suppliers to increase the proportion of biodiesel or bioethanol in their fuel to 5% by 2010. A feasibility study suggests that the obligation could be up and running from April 2008.1
