Rising costs hit marine wind power ambitions

Offshore wind power is failing to live up to its early promise, with many in the industry predicting only 1.5GW of capacity will be up and running by 2010. With the energy review well under way and targets slipping from reach, the government is facing pressure to increase support to stop the industry stalling. Alex Marshall reports
