Castle Cement fined £99,000 for dioxin breaches

Castle Cement has been fined £99,000 for a series of breaches of dioxin emission limits at its Padeswood works. The Environment Agency criticised Castle for not alerting inspectors of its failure to meet the limits in its integrated pollution control authorisation.
