Over 150 of the world’s largest companies from the US, Europe, Australia and China called on world leaders to develop ambitious and legally binding limits on greenhouse gas emissions at the United Nations climate change summit in Bali in December. The limits should come into force under the Kyoto Protocol in 2012 (see pp 4-5 ).
