Water resources strategy supports industry rejig

The Environment Agency’s water resources strategy for England paints an alarming picture of a water-stressed future. It advocates restructuring the water industry to abolish financial incentives on firms to supply more water and suggests unbundling firms’ supply and retail arms may allow more integrated resource management.
