SEPA forced to revisit abstraction licences to meet water standards

More than 100 abstraction licences in Scotland, issued just five years ago, may need to be revised to protect the environment, SEPA says. Meanwhile, the Environment Agency may soon have to pay compensation for a compulsory licence change
