Welcome to ENDS Business Bulletin. Last Thursday, the Water Bill was finally published and WRAP's funding allocation was also announced. These developments were part of what was arguably the most important day for environmental and energy policy for several years.
'Resilience' emerged as a key theme at the heart of the Water Bill. It is a word we're going to hear a lot this year. The money WRAP receives from Defra will fall by 40% over the next 18 months. This will surely limit its role in the forthcoming waste prevention programme for England.
