Boost for incineration in London
The energy-from-waste lobby has received a boost from the Government's rejection of a proposed moratorium on incinerators in London and its confirmation that the new Greater London Authority will have powers to direct planning decisions on major waste facilities. Meanwhile, Cory Environmental will soon relaunch plans for a massive incinerator in south-east London.
