Wallström pledges business-friendly environmental policy

Environmental policy will be more business-friendly under the EC's forthcoming sixth Environmental Action Programme, according to a recent speech by Environment Commissioner Margot Wallström. But with her enthusiasm to promote a "new economic growth paradigm" - in which greener products will use less resources - there is unlikely to be any let-up in the environmental pressures on business.
