TXU fined for failing to provide adequate instructions to staff

Power generator TXU Europe Merchant Generation has been fined £5,000 for failing to instruct its staff as required under its integrated pollution control (IPC) authorisation. The failure led to an excessive release of dust from the company's Ironbridge station.
