EST calls for £300 million programme for low carbon vehicles

The Energy Saving Trust (EST) has urged the Government to set targets for sales of low-carbon cars for 2010 and for uptake of hydrogen fuel cells in the bus fleet.1 It proposes a £300 million programme to encourage low carbon vehicles, but plans to end subsidies for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
