Biofuels producers make pitch for lower fuel duty

Food processors British Sugar and Cargill have told a House of Commons inquiry that they need a further fuel duty cut of 8p per litre before they will invest in biofuels production. The MPs were also told that the Government is moving too slowly for an EU target for biofuels sales to be met.
