DWI slams Yorkshire Water over disease outbreak

Yorkshire Water has been severely criticised by the Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI) over procedures at a water treatment works implicated in a cryptosporidiosis outbreak on North Humberside three years ago.1 The report also provides powerful arguments for the DWI to be given stronger enforcement powers.
