Scottish Water fails to meet sampling requirements
Scottish Water took only 93% of the required drinking water quality samples in 2003 according to the latest annual report from the Scottish Drinking Water Quality Regulator.1 The company failed to meet the required sampling frequencies at water works, service reservoirs and at customers taps, and failed to perform some 35,000 analyses.
