Bristol’s ‘excellent’ plan scuppered by lack of funding

Bristol City Council’s air quality action plan has been praised by the Environment Department (DEFRA) as an example of best practice - but the city is struggling to get central government funding to implement it. Bristol’s experience may lead other authorities to question the government’s commitment to the LAQM regime.
