Two more offences for Scottish Water

Scottish Water has been fined a total £5,000 for polluting two Lanarkshire rivers with sewage. The company appeared before Hamilton sheriff court on 1 July to admit charges of causing sewage effluent to enter controlled waters, contrary to section 30F(3) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974.
