Major barrier to carbon capture set to lift

The London Convention is expected to be altered in November to allow carbon dioxide to be stored in rocks below the sea - removing a major barrier to carbon capture and storage. Scientists are calling for the development of full-scale plant as the only way to test if storage will be permanent.
