Excess Kyoto credits threaten EUETS, says WWF
Member states are set to allow more emissions reduction credits from overseas projects into the second phase of the EU emissions trading scheme (EUETS) than they need. This, combined with lax caps on emissions, would discourage European companies from reducing their own emissions and could cause the price of carbon to collapse.
