NRA wields big stick over carrot pollution

A Norfolk company has been ordered to pay £1,000 in fines and costs after polluting a watercourse with carrots. The National Rivers Authority (NRA) took a stern view of its failure to clear up a careless delivery which demolished a wall and landed thousands of carrots in a ditch.
