Measures to reduce emissions from two processes at Allied Colloids' chemical works in Bradford could bring annual savings of over £1.5 million, according to a joint report by the company and HM Inspectorate of Pollution (HMIP). The potential savings are much larger than the firm had expected - lending weight to HMIP's contention that integrated pollution control (IPC) is "good value for money".
