Castle Cement unveils plan to ease plume grounding
Castle Cement is proposing to fit a wet scrubber to one of the kilns at its Ribblesdale works in Lancashire in a bid to mitigate the effects of plume grounding in the area. But the company claims that the £4 million project will be affordable only if it is permitted to burn larger quantities of industrial waste.
