PCB intakes from food decline

Human intakes of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in food fell by 66% between 1982 and 1992, according to analyses by the Ministry of Agriculture (MAFF).1 The finding is reassuring - but an impending review of PCB toxicity may refocus attention on human exposure to dioxins and PCBs.
