Rivers suffer as farmers switch to `safer' sheep dips

Farmers are switching to new sheep dips based on synthetic pyrethroids following concerns about the health hazards of traditional organophosphate-based products. But the new dips are up to 1,000 times more toxic to aquatic life and are causing a massive increase in water pollution.
