New controls urged on sheep dips to reduce water pollution risks

The recent spate of serious water pollution incidents caused by synthetic pyrethroid sheep dips has prompted the Government's advisory Veterinary Products Committee (VPC) to urge new controls on the use and disposal of dips. The Government has promised a review on the issue.
