Proposals at last on marine environment high risk areas

Six years after an inquiry triggered by the Braer oil tanker disaster off the Shetlands recommended the designation of a new type of Marine Environmental High Risk Area (MEHRA) to be avoided by shipping, the Government has published a report setting out a methodology for identifying such areas.
