Still no sign of decline in underlying CO2 trend

The UK's carbon dioxide emissions showed a modest drop last year to take them 7.5% below the 1990 level. But after correction for temperature variations the figures showed almost no change for the sixth year running - reinforcing doubts about whether the official CO2 target for 2010 is achievable.
