Audit Committee has another go at "greening government"

Renewed criticism of the "greening government" initiative has been made by the House of Commons Environmental Audit Committee. 1 In an assessment of last summer's first annual report from the Green Ministers Committee, it finds serious shortcomings in areas such as environmental reporting and appraisal of policies. The Committee sets a challenging agenda for Green Ministers on their reporting practices - including a move to external validation of some of their data.
