Iceland's anti-GM claims "misleading"

Iceland, the first supermarket to promote own brand products as containing no genetically-modified (GM) ingredients, was rebuked in May by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) for making misleading claims about the risks of GM products. However, complaints concerning two of Iceland's comments on ecological risks were rejected.
