Secondary liquid fuels and planning law

The growing use of waste-based "secondary liquid fuels" (SLF) in the cement industry has given rise to several legal disputes in recent years. In the latest case, the High Court considered whether a planning authority was wrong to decide that no planning permission was required where a fuel source was changed — and declined to quash the decision.
