Waste regulation faces squeeze despite Agency's new cash

Spending to implement the EC Directives on landfill, water and habitats is outlined in the Environment Agency's latest corporate plan - but work on integrated pollution prevention and control (IPPC) is to be delayed, and waste regulation is facing a squeeze thanks to an anticipated five-fold increase in licensing work.
