Review endorses leukaemia link to electromagnetic fields

Debate over the possible carcinogenic effects of electromagnetic fields took a step forward in March when the National Radiological Protection Board (NRPB) endorsed evidence of a small risk of leukaemia in children.1 The findings underline poor knowledge of human exposure to fields and, though equivocal, are sure to increase public sensitivity on the issue.
