Computer firm fined for polluting Agency's lake
On 4 April, Yate magistrates heard that the Environment Agency found a thick layer of oil on lakes on its own doorstep - at its headquarters in the Aztec West business park in Bristol. 40,000 litres of diesel oil had overflowed from a heating system owned by computer firm Cap Gemini UK following routine maintenance last May. 10,000 litres entered the stormwater lakes through drains.
