Kimberley-Clark fined for oil pollution

Multinational paper maker Kimberley-Clark was fined £5,000 and ordered to pay costs of £1,110 on 15 May after pleading guilty to polluting the river Medway with oil. Maidstone magistrates heard that a kilometre of the Medway estuary was polluted with diesel oil last November.
