Lack of test methods slows EC progress on endocrine disruptors

A revised strategy on endocrine-disrupting chemicals was set out in a progress report by the European Commission in June.1 The programme will continue to be hampered for several years by the lack of suitable test methods. The Commission has also announced a new study into the occurrence of endocrine disruptors in drinking water.
