Chivers fined for red river Lark

Food manufacturer Chivers Hartley was fined £15,000 in June after turning an East Anglian river red with beetroot effluent. Brewer Ushers of Trowbridge and Arla Foods have also been fined for pollution offences which coloured rivers green and orange.
