Private group to draft legislation on land remediation
A novel public-private initiative has been launched to draw up a new regulatory framework for land remediation projects, rather than wait for the Whitehall machine. Meanwhile, the industry is complaining that Scottish regulators' tough line on water pollution from remediated sites is proving "catastrophic" for brownfield redevelopment.
