Agency seeks to reassure public over incinerator ash

An Environment Agency report on the use and disposal of incinerator ash has concluded that ash used to make construction blocks and stockpiled in the open does not present a significant risk to human health.1 The Agency identifies the block making plants which used mixed ash from LondonWaste's incinerator at Edmonton, but is unable to say where the blocks were used.
